Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.
Storytelling

Clever and fun - very cool art, very interesting ruleset - but mostly a lot of FUN! We played the pnp version on kickstarter and were surprised at how quickly we got into it. Can't wait for my KS copy to arrive!!!

AT Theme game based on getting revenge against gangs that have wronged you. Uses a combination of dice drafting and personal cards to powerup before going into dens and initialing dice combat. I think this game has some good roots but could have used more development and streamlining. More missions/acheives and I think the dice drafting was a bit under cut by the card play. Also it seems having high mind is always important because that's your source of action econemy (which helps you get other things). I've been noticing an issue with dice games that don't have simultaneous play (centerville being another recently) in that it causes a lot of downtime in between player turns because you can't setup/plan anything and it's important to know the results of the person taking their turn. Our game took twice as long as advertised (with rules) but even if there were no rules, it'd probably take ~45min per player still without. note: we did miss a bunch of small rules in our first play but wouldn't have changed my thoughts about the game overall

dice game, needs little luck, have some funny ideas for upgrade, little frentic because of collective dice pool
