Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.
Storytelling

Full review: http://geekandsundry.com/kill-bill-comes-to-your-dining-room-table-with-vengeance/ -------------------------------------------- Solid release that delicately balances pacing between breather montage phases where you gain abilities and heal, and fast paced fight rounds where you head into map-based combat to take down bosses. The only shortcomings are in the lack of player interaction and its length, which is just a smidge too long. Both of these are overcome by the execution of theme and wonderful narrative.

This game was the trickiest for me to understand, but after few rounds in, the rules just made sense. I like that it was you against the game and not a hundred percent against your opponent, as I am not a confrontational person. I did get the feeling of playing against a computer where it became almost impossible to defeat the area unless you got every move right. I am a person who makes a lot of mistakes and so, I did get annoyed by that, but was overall a good game

Great concept, great pieces and easy to learn rules. The game is fun, but it will take some time to play. While each player plays through their den, there will be downtime for the other players. I have additional dice, so 2 people can go at the same time to speed up games. Be aware that players do not interact for most of the game. The only time players compete directly with each other is during the upgrade/heal phase of the game which is called the montage phase. The solo mode is great. There is a lot to like about this game and it's expansion. Worth a look into.
