Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.
Storytelling

A really cool concept that needed further development for sure. I actually think the game has alot of potential, but needed a stronger developer to really make the game shine. I like the theme, and the variability in there with the unique players & gangs. Wish there was a little more player interaction, and the dice drafting aspect feels a bit tacked on, but overall this is a fun AT type game. Components are so-so, but you kind of know going in this isn't FFG or CMON.

Played at Essen 2017. OMG, It has been a long time since I have encountered something so completely senseless. The story behind the game doesn't make any sense at all and the gameplay is so completely random and boring. You spend the most of the game watching other players roll dice and hack some enemies. While they do that you can easily go grocery shopping. And in the end it doesn't even matter if you roll well or badly. In our group the player who rolled ridiculously good managed to clear all enemies from a whole gang, while I rolled utter crap, so I just walked past all the gang members to the boss and killed him (yeah right, let's leave this guy with his katanas who we tortured just some hours earlier and let him walk to our boss...) Of course this got me more points because my boss was more difficult and spawned more gang members. What??? This game is randomness combined with randomness and some luck on top. Material is nice though, so I give it a 2

The montage is maybe a bit meta, but the combat is super evocative of the mood and them of the game and plays out very cool even if you fall short of your objective.
