Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.
Storytelling

I love the cinematic action in the game, makes you feel like a character in a Tarantino movie or a Frank Miller comic. The adrenaline kicks in with the first roll of dice. The game is unique in the level of pre-planning required from the player, since it's a competitive game, one has to plan how to act to maximise points and possibly even hinder the other players without actively acting on them. Requires a different type of strategic thinking.

Did my first play and I already love the game, the mecanics are really easy to learn with lots of combos possible. I also love the drafting part with the vengeance cards in the Wronging phase, it adds another layer of strategy to decide who you're gonna attack in the combat phase. The components are of great quality, many (and when I say many I mean a lot) of the minis were bent (first time that I see a Katana making an almost perfect 90 degrees) but easily fixed with boiling water. All in all, this is a really great game and it delivers what it says, it's exciting to go in a den and kill 10 people and a boss with only 2 health of damage just like in the movies

There are few games that recreate the Vengeance movie theme and this one has theme at every corner. The feeling of being able to cut through grunts like butter, and then healing and improving your character all add to the immersion of it all. It also has a great pace to it, as it slows during the montage phase and accelerates into the combat phase and then back again. Some of the component quality is not the greatest but all in all, it is a great game.
