Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

My favorite game of Dragonflight 2021. Definitely want to pick up a copy. It's BSG but for some reason I think think this clicked better with me.
Arkku
Nice atmospheric game, and good hidden traitor mechanics. The downside is that the player count needs to be fairly high, and this combined with the possibility of losing your cards means you can end up waiting for a long time without being able to do anything.
