영향력+덱빌딩. 유명한건 이유가 있더라. ui가 좀 더 좋았더라면... 영향력이 불호요소라 7점을 주지만 좋은 게임임.

One of my favorite games when I first got it, I still love Tyrants, but you don't get quite as much decision making agency as I'd like given the length. It scales very well but I do think it's best as a 4 player game, and it is a very solid marriage of deckbuilding and area control. The 6 card market is a significant factor of luck and limits your ability to build your deck in a specific direction. The area control and interactions with others is already very tactical, so I would love a bit more strategy in the deckbuilding, but buying from the market is much more tactical due to its rotating nature. The extreme looseness of being able to play all your cards every turn also makes most of your turns pretty straightforward decisions, merely a matter of deciding between a couple market cards and where to use your power. Even so, the promote mechanic is very clever, the spy mechanic is innovative and adds a lot of depth to the otherwise generic area control, and the board and cards just flow together nicely. It's usually a close game, and never feels too disappointing, but in 4 player will always run over an hour and your decision making is just a little too limited for Tyrants to be a truly great game for me. I certainly recommend it as it is accessible and always a satisfying game.

Deck building is a bit like Star Realms but more random. Really dislike the topologic part with big kingmaking potential.
