Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.

Really great game with a lot of interesting mechanics. My only complaint is it's a bit fiddly with the rondel, and all the tokens that get moved about. It's also challenging to remember certain steps when you pass the quarter year that results in The resetting of the board along with remembering to take your player actions and bonuses based on all the cubes you moved around the rondel. However the different choices and actions you take really causes you to think out a long term strategy especially with final end game scoring opportunities.

We got this because my wife and I, absolutely love The Castles of Burgundy. We were a bit overwhelmed the first time we played it, but already the second time we had it hit the table, most of the things just "clicked". We played a full game in about 1½ hour, and that is just the right time for a game like this. A bit heavier and meatier than Burgundy, but it has not yet surpassed it. Atleast not for me, but I think my wife like this more. Played our 5th game with more than two, for the first time. We were 4. The two newcomers had not played it before. The game lenght was fine, and we had a good time, but I do enjoy it with two players more. For 4 players, it will only get a 7/10 by me.

Got a copy of this in late 2022. Played it with three other experienced gamers. Was a big hit. Really enjoyed this. The mancala mechanism is really different for me. All of us want to play more.
