It is straightforward and I've only played once. Nice production certainly. It's a all head's down puzzle affair with little interaction beyond drafting and competition in scoring objectives. Too difficult for me to develop a valid path to meet the larger scoring objectives - I think largely because of the complexities of uncertainty and visual busyness. I'd play again, but don't feel a need to own it.

Played 6 or 7 times solo, once at two. At two it was a nice little filler but it seems to me more interesting solo. Compared to my other solo games, like TMB or Hegemony, it is very fast and quick to set up. A 30 minute puzzle that makes me feel smart when I get it and hopeful when I don’t. Deluxe version was too expensive for me for a small solo game but the Standard version is very nice with so many cards that I can wear out one set and still have another and the animal meeples are very cute.

I played this once. This one will likely get a bump from me because I like the art and the idea a lot. But my first impression is that this is an extremely AP inducing game for what it is. But it’s so well presented it’s hard to hold anything against it. I played on BGA, I’m hoping if I play in person it will be less AP prone.
