Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.

Similar to the other mini TTR games. This one borrows a simplified version of the stock concept from Pennsylvania. Because all of the mini TTRs feel like the last 10-15 minutes of the full-size TTR, the tension is pretty high right from the start.

Another "small" version with a fun mechanism of collecting route completion cards on some connections for end game bonus points. Like the other small versions, it's fast with a board that can be quite tight.

Its nice and its certainly quick... but I don't know it just lack... something. I don't think I would ever pick this over a full game of ticket to ride even if pressed for time. Its over almost before it even begins. I like the wagons and the goods cards encourage you to complete the route on the edge of the city, but honestly they are a pale motivator, you are much better off simply racing to complete as many tickets as possible. As with the New York version. I want to like it... but I just don't :soblue: Sold in 2021.
