Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

A lovely, fun, light game in the spirit of Last Will. The games don't mesh together at all, so it feels like you're playing three different mini games instead of one game but the theme and art and mechanics are all enjoyable. The addition of Last Will as a module is unique and interesting.

I thought this would be much lighter than 'Last Will', but it's not. With all three domains in play it may even be heavier - or at least present you with tougher and more choices each round, which isn't quite the same thing but certainly feels like it at times. Still enjoyable, but 'Last Will' combined with 'Getting Sacked' is may be the best option for this series of games.

Great thematic mid-weight euro. You are playing essentially three different minigames all connected via a central board and card play. Interesting dynamic of symbols where you start with some which you wanna lose during the game (while building the symbols in a different way), so on one hand you want to keep your items for their symbols but they will cost you if you don't get rid of them till the end. Nice arc to the game and nice little unique touches with a well integrated theme (still a euro). Also components are really good. Easy reccomendation. Only cons, set ups takes a while with a lot of moving bits. P.S. It is a sequel to "Last Will" which seems to have better ratings (haven't played it but would imagine because it came out first and Prodigals Club is quite similar, though you don't have the "spinning plates" of the three minigames witch I really like in this game).
