This is a fantastic game of negotiation and discussion. Tells a great story of a corrupt and dangerous kingdom. Even fun if you are "losing" (Although it is not too clear as to what the main goal is) because the story keeps moving along. So many great moments. Best played with the same group for each session.

The King's Dilemma suffers from a lackluster physical board, offering minimal visual appeal. While decisions affect the kingdom, the game fails to immerse players fully in the consequences, resulting in disconnected gameplay and a shallow experience.

This isn't really a game, it's more of a social experience with friends. I was enjoying that experience at the beginning, but it became increasingly silly and not fun. We were in it to figure out what happens at the end, but even that was an overwrought hot mess. Thank god it's over.
