Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Definitely not a bad game, by any stretch. I like the art, and the macabre theme, quite honestly, is what drew us in. But the game just felt sort of... there.... the first time around for us. Nothing spectacular, not all that memorable, just sort of... meh. Now, this could be an us thing, too. There are a lot of games that work awesomely at 3 or 4 and translate badly to 2. That could have an awful lot to do with it. But whatever the case, I'm sure we'll play it again, I'm just not sure whether it will suddenly spring its proper enjoyment upon us or not.

This game was more thinky than I was expecting from a small box game. That said, I really enjoyed my first play! The macabre theme is kind of fun too =P.

Played once or twice, and I think the second time was a bit cumbersome but need more plays to decide. Love the idea and how the mechanics *should* work. Update: The game is a bit complex, which is good but means the learning curve is a bit steep for occassional play. Still rate it 8/10
