In Teotihuacan: City of Gods, each player commands a force of worker dice, which grow in strength with every move. On your turn, you move a worker around a modular board, always choosing one of two areas of the location tile you land on: one offering you an action (and a worker upgrade), the other providing you with a powerful bonus (but without an upgrade).

Really good game. The theme alone helped me to get my family to play it and they loved it, because it is a really good game.

October 2022 - 8 - 5 plays (all at 2 player) + Great medium/heavy rondel game. + Dice represent workers where they advance in strength works very well. + Number of different strategies to pursue. + Pyramid looks awesome. + Lots of good decisions throughout the game, primarily around best timing of actions and when to upgrade/ascend workers. = All plays have been at 2 player which has dummy workers to increase cost of actions, would be better with human players. - Bit fiddly remembering all the effects that occur after turns or when workers ascend.
