In Teotihuacan: City of Gods, each player commands a force of worker dice, which grow in strength with every move. On your turn, you move a worker around a modular board, always choosing one of two areas of the location tile you land on: one offering you an action (and a worker upgrade), the other providing you with a powerful bonus (but without an upgrade).

Heavy, but easy to understand. Good iconography and plays smoothly, especially on BGA. The pyramid wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be, but the tracks give some really fun aspects to the game. Neat "ascension" stuff. +1 for variability!

i had kept my distance from this game for a long time, even when it was sitting on the shelf, it seemed intimidating and too complex. When finally decided to learn and play it, i have fallen in love with it. It's relatively easy, just have to pay attention to details. Haven't tried the expansions just yet, want to make sure that all of us are comfortable playing the base game.
