Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

First, let me address the Anniversary edition. I love that the double-side board makes it easy to play the classic game that I love so much. As for the winter expansion, it is subtle, just enough to change up game strategies and give it a boost. I also love the metallic print on the box. Regarding Stone Age, I simply love this game. For a resource management/worker placement, it is very easy to get the table. Set up is simple and game play is clear enough to teach to newbies to this mechanic. Not just easy to teach, but also easy for them to enjoy on their first play. The rolling mechanism adds a bit of fun and chaos to the game, but not so much that it throws strategy out the window. This is just a great game. I will always have a copy in my collection and cannot imagine a situation where I would turn down a play.
Cone Defense
This worker placement game was played too late in the hobby for me (or so I think). It’s a solid worker placement that feels incredibly bland compared to any of the modern iterations. Can’t imagine choosing this over other titles.

Buen juego de iniciacion, aunque con mucho azar y durante los primeros turnos las acciones son clonicas. La edicion 10th tiene un arte helado muy chulo pero una caja absurdamente grande
