Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.

[microbadge=34746] I've only played this solo, but even despite the gorgeous whimsical theming and Zen feel, there was still something missing for me gameplay-wise.

TL;DR: Pretty game doing standard worker placy things. Highest VPs wins. Not too bad, but aside the looks, nothing special either. For me a little too much push your luck for a game easily taking an hour. Pleasing to the eyes and the zeppelin traveling the sliding day- and night tiles look innovative. But it's just a nice visual trick conveying round scoring and opening worker spots without too much fiddliness. The core mechanic is a somewhat hybrid worker placement/pick-up and deliver hybrid and you get points by collecting resources and matching patterns. A number of patterns you need to match for points lay open, but are only available to the first that gathers the appropriate resources. The sliding tiles determine when you get resources, but any player can play cards that trigger this. That means with four players this can lead to very unfortunate timing. All in all a pretty light game, where you should take planning not too serious.
