Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

If you are looking for a Small World game, this is the one to get. On top of great art it uses some of the best ideas from several expansions to the original game.

This game serves as my introduction into the Small World franchise. I found this game simple to learn, the gameplay felt elaborate enough that my choices felt meaningful without forcing me to consider for endless minutes, and the art is top notch. As a bonus, I came from a background of having played World of Warcraft so I felt right at home with the lore, races, and theme.
