Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

Played a 4p game. I kind of liked it, although not everybody in my group enjoyed it. I think it's fun, relatively quick and leaves you enough options to encourage thinking. I can imagine it's the best with 4 players, since there are more opportunities for the thief to score. Admittedly other than the thief there's little interaction and everybody just tries to draft cards most suitable for themselves. I'll stick to it for a while.

Decent game, but I think there are other games in the genre that are probably more fun. This one's a bit forgettable.

It is nice light, cute fun. It needs some clarity on legal placement of roads and rivers (some better examples would help). It's quick, easy, and fun.
