Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
The simultaneous action selection mechanic lets players secretly choose their actions. After they are revealed, the actions resolve following the rule-set of the game.

Finally a solo skirmish game I enjoy. It's got a small footprint, looks nice and plays smoothly. The rules are poorly written en unclear, but it's not that difficult to house rule ambiguities. I like that you have to carefully consider your positioning and timing of attacks and blocks.

Not bad, there’s other skirmish games I’d rather play. The UI is a bit busy and a lot of turns boil down to: oh you’re just backing out of range? Well I guess I don’t attack you then. There’s probably some interesting depth to be had with the deckbuilding but I just can’t get into it.

This company is horrible. I would advise others to not back their products. Vague passive aggressive responses to costumes who have been waiting years for something they have already paid for. No option for a refund. I have backed a lot of kickstarters, but this one has been the worst by far.
