Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.
Take That
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

Charming, fantastic components and overall presentation and it's dripping with theme like a V60 Dripper. It genuinely made me curious about the coffee culture in Berlin. The way in which you can engine-build and upgrade your actions is pretty nice, however, mechanically the game has its issues: 1. You'll probably never upgrade your cafe style mid-game and in the endgame, since you're limited to only two actions per round and maintaining your customers happy and your pantry full is much more lucrative. 2. The game comes with a lot of customer cards from different types. That's all good, and I enjoy the set collection element, but in reality, most of the customers in one category are identical, except for the title and the artwork ( the opposite of what you see in Grand Austria Hotel, for example ). What seems like a great amount of variability isn't variability at all, just a lot of content with not that much depth. 3. Not a mechanical issue per se, but the game has a lot of iconography and in some cases it's really unnecessary - for instance having TWO different icons for the same reward ( get a positive review )

Pretty fiddly. Bad icon usage, where a lot of them aren’t intuitive and a lot of them seem to mean the same thing but not have a related icon. The icons aren’t really referenced as they should be on the player board. I’d have given it 4 stars, but it’s got good components, presentation, good use of theme and at least on interesting mechanism. If the game had no icon issues, I can see giving it a 6 (which I consider good, but not ‘very good’). The interesting mechanism is a deck builder that forces you to take some cards in an interesting way. You might want them, you might not. I really hope this is used in some other game that I like someday, it’s a fantastic idea and is a wonderful use of theme here in this game in a way of saying “you can’t always choose your customers.” I don’t know if I’d want to play again, given the icon issues, but if there were a second edition where they fixed the icon issues (and hopefully reduced fiddle factor, but that’s not necessarily a deal breaker) I’d be down to give it a shot.

Hot garbage. This game has not and will never deliver. The KS is creeping on 3 years of unfulfillment! Oh well.
