The miniatures, cards, artwork, are beautiful! However the rulebook is awful and leaves out way too many clarifications (where do any cards go after they are revealed or played??), especially with the NPC activations. This game is unplayable solo as the NPCs are your only enemy and their rules just aren't working. Could be more fun with more people if you all agree to make up rules as you go. I'll give this game another shot if they clarify basically everything rules related and fix the app so it saves progress in a game.

Enjoyable escape from the mundane! Played it at a friends and greatly enjoyed the experience. It feels like FTL meets Sid Meier's Pirates, but multiplayer and a board game :)

Years are passing, and this is still in limbo for me, waiting on a 2.0 version. It's functional as is, so it's not broken, but I've hesitated to bother until the new version arrives. Update *8/13/2022*: The latest update from Guildhall suggests its a good time to revisit it, so I am going to and then update the review up/down based on how it's improved (or not). Into the breach once more... :) Update 8/22/2022: Improved to a 7, with the game tripping over itself as the reason it doesn't rate a 9. It could have.
