There was clearly a lot of love put into this, but the game is bland and uninspiring. A player aid would have been nice, and I wish the different characters felt different - the abilities are just variations on each other, and the game never felt very exciting. Also, putting all those cardboard terrain pieces together was awful, especially as no instructions were provided. Good luck getting them to stay together!

I had fun playing this game. But it's way too simple for our liking. I really don't know who this is for. If you are into board games enough to spend money on this, and you love Scott Pilgrim, it's likely you are really into board games. So why is it entry level? And that sucks, because they did awesome by the theme. And I really like the dice system. It's not roll and resolve damage, it's action dice that you roll and then use for abilities. It's fun and thinky. But then you get to the combat, once everyone is leveled a little bit it just feels super samey. Do some damage and knock you back. Over and over and over. :D Scott Pilgrim, made with great care to the IP :D Fantastic minis and overall very good production :D I really like the action dice system :) Easy to understand and get playing :) Lots of characters with the KS all in :soblue: Only 1 evil ex in the retail box :soblue: Wallace deck does nothing (but should be like an event deck) :soblue: You level up way too fast :gulp: Complete lack of objectives or status effects found in other simple skirmish games :gulp: :gulp: After a few turns you will just be standing around doing damage until someone wins
