Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

2019-08-26 - 7 - A game of building and bluffing, which can give you quite some fun! I had good time with it and I will play it more. 2019-09-29 - 7->5.5 - The first game was fun. The second was not as good, but I've played with 3 players. Now, after the third play I think that the game gets samey and what's worse, the luck of a draw/draft that gives you industrial buildings will lead you to getting a lot of points playing against the spirit of the game (just produce action) and noone can stop you, because your buildings are real and your opponents can't make more than 2 points per action, while you get 2 or 3 every time.. That's a shame, because the concept of this game is great.

Enjoyable game where you build fake (and some real) buildings to impress a lady. There are far more fake cards than real cards. If your fake buildings survive to the end they are worth 2 victory points, whereas out of the real buildings one is worth 1 point and another is worth 2 points. It pays off to gamble on making fake buildings. I would be careful with your spy agencies, they are important for blowing up your opponents' fake buildings, but if your spy agency is fake and your opponent investigates it they will steal your spy and now have two. It gets ugly if they manage to snatch several spies from other people. They can then blow up buildings left and right. It can be hard to recover from that.

I backed this one just for the theme, to be honest. Sounded like a fun time. And it is! Not a heavy or deep game, but a lot of silly fun. I especially like those moments when someone challenges one of your buildings and you yourself have no idea if it's real or fake. There should be some endgame bonus for most real or fake buildings. Can't decide on which.
