One of the most beautiful game i ve ever seen and played in my life. Totally pandemic based, nothing new but gys, the cthulhu setting is unbelivable for pandemic mechanic. The artwork and components are mind blowing. A MUST HAVE.

While I appreciate the Old Ones and the Sanity mechanism in this game, the simplified logistical puzzle (compared to other entries in the series) takes away a lot of my enjoyment of the game. Also, I find that the Shoggoth's movement, while very cool in theory, often ends up adding a huge swing in difficulty based on where they spawn.

While I enjoy Pandemic and am a big fan of Lovecraft and the Cthulhu mythos, this combination just doesn't do it for me. Really easy to get into and play, just like the standard version of Pandemic and the random Great Old Ones means that things can play out a little differently each time which is neat. The board tries to evoke doom and gloom in the artwork but the board is far too dark to see anything well enough for that feeling to really come through. An interesting experiment but it's just not for me.
