More challenging than Season 1, however the gameplay feels so much different, because of this I can understand why some people might like it less. I still gave it the same rating, it is still a great game.

After finishing the campaign : I enjoyed S2 more than S1. The story was better, the mechanics more interesting and the overall game was deeper strategically. My only complaint is that this is now garbage. I find it abhorrent that games are being designed to end up in the landfill. I never would have bought and played it because I obviously knew that going in, but my wife bought it for me and really wanted to play it. Season 2 introduces a significant number of random elements that makes it impossible to devise longterm strategic plans around. Each month feels more like an atypical game of standard Pandemic with some novel but chaotic obstacle thrown in the way. This was so unsatisfying that after month six we decided as a group to forfeit and throw the game away rather than bother to finish.
