For a game that on the surface was all about player exploration and multiple paths to victory, there seems to have only been a single winning strategy. In that I now know that strategy, the game is both more replayable than Season 1 and a game I have no desire to ever play again.

My 10 is to counter all these dicks putting 1's for no reason other than being morons. Even though you can only play through once it is a unique experience and most enjoyable if its anything like season 1. Really at the end of the game you could just use whatever you created to keep playing that scenario.

It's hard, with a game you only play through once, to know whether it was just a bad play or if the game itself is to blame. In my case, I think I was a bit turned off by how not-really-Pandemic S2 is (with S1, a large part of my fun was seeing how they twisted the formula away from it, which I didn't get here). That being said, I didn't get into S2 as much because of how swingy the difficulty was: we lost multiple games without having a snowman's chance, and won others without ever feeling threatened. Is it the game fault, the way the card felt, or something we did? I don't know. It was still fun, but nowhere near as good as S1 was (which I rate a 10).
