Whack-a-mole on a board. While the Pandemic series have made a name of itself as lightweight, family-friendly cooperative games, there is very little reason for core gamers to play any game within this series (incl the Legacy variants) given the availability of Spirit Island, which completely outclasses Pandemic in complexity. To be blunt, Pandemic might be even less exciting than physical whack-a-mole

A Pandemic title with a historical setting. The train and water purification tolkens are a fantastic addition. [Cards sleeved; Solo play]
