At the height of its power, the Roman Empire covered a vast amount of territory and brought major advancements in engineering, architecture, science, art, and literature. Corruption and economic crisis has made the empire unstable and paved the way for aggressive barbarian tribes to attack.

A very good version of the Pandemic. Very interesting and it brings new mechanism into the game that it is worth playing both....

Very enjoyable version! I’m might even call this my favourite of the regular series, (sadly haven’t yet played the Legacy versions). We went in with 6 Revolt cards in our 1st play and had a rough start. Combined with a learning game and not the best strategy from the outset, we lost but not by a wide margin. I look forward to trying this one again!

Fall of Rome adds almost a “dungeon crawl” feel to the game. Battling barbarians is great, risky fun.
