At the height of its power, the Roman Empire covered a vast amount of territory and brought major advancements in engineering, architecture, science, art, and literature. Corruption and economic crisis has made the empire unstable and paved the way for aggressive barbarian tribes to attack.

A clever twist on the mechanisms of the original Pandemic, and I really like the solo mode they introduced with this game. I don't love the dice though. I hate to lose a game on an unlucky roll.

I believe FoR became my favorite Pandemic. It gives you a richer, deeper experience, but the same flavor. However, the changes in the migration system and the corruption action open up the game to new levels, and make the puzzle quite different. It's a fresh take for fans of Pandemic who, like me, grew a bit tired of the original.
