I'm a fan of base Pandemic but Pandemic: Legacy is far superior. Haven't tried any of the Pandemic expansions.

Traded for Risk 2210!! Bought it on a whim and have really enjoyed it. A quick, fun coop game that is challenging and has a great theme. Downgraded after 5 or 6 plays. It really loses its luster--it is way too obvious what each role is supposed to do, and I have had no desire to play this one since.

Such a solid game. I'm in the middle of playing Legacy, however, and I'm afraid that I won't want to play "vanilla" Pandemic after that. We shall see. As far as Co-Ops go, the only real problem with base Pandemic is the tendency to have "optimal plays", which almost negates any player feeling like they are truly in control of their turns. However, this was the game that taught me how to NOT be the "alpha gamer", and let the game play out as it would in real life. That made the game much more enjoyable - even if it led to more defeats.
