Such a solid game. I'm in the middle of playing Legacy, however, and I'm afraid that I won't want to play "vanilla" Pandemic after that. We shall see. As far as Co-Ops go, the only real problem with base Pandemic is the tendency to have "optimal plays", which almost negates any player feeling like they are truly in control of their turns. However, this was the game that taught me how to NOT be the "alpha gamer", and let the game play out as it would in real life. That made the game much more enjoyable - even if it led to more defeats.

a cooperative game that is huge fun and very difficult. great play mechanics and player roles means no two games are going to be the same.

A co-op game that is fun and relatively easy to learn and plays in a short amount of time. Each game tends to be very different and they are usually tense to the end. It's fun to give each disease a name and then watch it spread or try to cure it. The city spots are way too small for all the stuff that can go on them, though; a single pawn is larger than a city space!
