Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

Gorgeous art, interesting choices and satisfying play. However, after 4-5 plays...i can see it getting a bit same-y and not having longevity.
Arancil
Has a level of uniqueness, typical Euro passive aggression where you just block and steal good moves. A rung above games like Splendor in complexity and having actual tiles to make it a bit less abstract is neat if you want something more meaty.
Bayushi Sezaru
Orbis feels like a new permutation of Splendor or Century: same publisher, same size of box, same weight, same kind of abstract draft/collect cubes/convert to victory points. Here, the theme is gods shaping worlds, but you hardly feel that. Is it good or bad? It is a good game, but hardly impressive. I would play it if anyone would suggest, but I don’t feel the urge to own it. Not enough in these years, I am afraid...
