Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.

7-21-15: I won my first game, which gave me the false impression that this game wasn't too, too difficult. And then I lost my next seven games (and counting). I thought I had a good strategy going, but I'm still trying to figure it out. Not sure how great this is as a two player co-op, but it's a fun, fast solitaire card game. UPDATE 9-27-15: I've played it a LOT more in the past two months. In fact, it's quickly become the most played game in my collection. After my first ten plays, I got a better handle on strategy and have probably won 65-70% of my games since that first difficult start. The expansions definitely make the game easier, but they add some variety, too. This is a very solid game.

Like any solo-puzzle-style game, when you win the game you don't feel playing it again. However, the second edition has some nice extension.

Simple but addictive solo play. It certainly has randomness, but it's so quick and exciting that you don't mind too much. The pushing your luck and deciding which colors to go for at a given time is the main decision of the game. Playing the free app is definitely great, as it makes it much faster to play. I first learned it today and played it 36 times today on the app, so it's definitely enjoyable.
