I wanted to love this game, but at the end of the day I just couldn't. So beautiful, such a cool mechanic with the gears; but the gameplay was just weak, and the end game scoring... designers, please don't do stuff like this in your games. Yuck.

Thoroughly boring and fiddly, especially that silly wheel. Bits are constantly being jostled out of their holes and being 'lost' under the wheel. The fact that you have to turn it every turn makes it doubly so. The players who can build the most factories the quickest soon run away with the game, making it impossible for anyone else to catch up. On top of all that, it has no theme as far as I can tell, and is way too long for what it is. Steer clear of this one - you have better things to do with your time.

I found the game so opaque, the decisions unexciting, the pace slow and uneventful. The wheel limits your actions, but in a way that never makes you feel clever. You're doing the same thing on turn 1 as on turn 10, but the numbers go up. The scoring system is really interesting, but is presented in the least engaging way it could.
