This mechanic requires you to place a bid, usually monetary, on items in an auction of goods in order to enhance your position in the game. These goods allow players future actions or improve a position. The auction consists of taking turns placing bids on a given item until one winner is established, allowing the winner to take control of the item being bid on. Usually there is a game rule that helps drop the price of the items being bid on if no players are interested in the item at its current price.
Auction/Bidding
This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.
Pick-up and Deliver
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

We were really worried we wouldn't like this game, especially after reading the *authentic* reviews and watching video reviews. The rulebook is really, really, really bad. Not just unclear, but missing information so you just have to infer or make up a house rule. The gameplay was pretty fun, even at 2 players. We enjoyed the decisions involved and hoping from boat to truck, etc. Many of the cardsand tiles were really unbalanced (we kept saying, "that doesn't even seem worth it" throughout the game). We removed negative challenge cards for 2 players because the point loss was just too hefty and random. The theme is super fun and unique. Overall, I think the fake/exaggerated reviews really hurt this company and I would definitely recommend removing them and starting with reviews post-KS release. It makes you look so dishonest, and this just isn't a 10 or even an 8 at this point (but it has potential). The rulebook needs an overhaul. It feels like it wasn't actually read through and play-tested by unbiased parties somehow?? Hope to see updates soon.

The instructions for the game are brutal. Fortunately the creators are very responsive and have generated a good FAQ. Further to that the first time our group played the game we had some hesitation. After playing a second time it was a lot more entertaining and allowed the game to be a lot more intense. Really am enjoying the game and look forward to playing it again in the future. Was initially thought that the key to the game was to get a number of shiners but i played a game by starting with no shiners and even giving one up in the first turn and managed to pull off a win with different strategies revolving around efficient deliveries.

Just received the game. Played twice with brother in law and I think it’s a really fun interactive game. Our favorite part of the game is the auction as is good for a laugh and surprise. The art quality is top notch as are the vehicle and game piece design. Main negative point from my perspective is just the number of caveats/bonus’s. We found several instances where we missed something small like a bonus, later in our game play. Guessing as we play more we will get better at keeping track of these things.
