Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.

I will preface this review by fully admitting that I can be overly critical with my feedback. However, I think the rules are poorly written and there is a grammatical typo on one of the end game condition cards. The game itself plays fine and is a light-weight set-creation game.

[Kolossal Games 19 edition] {Market; set-collection, action-drafting; optimal 2p} The new edition is a good step-up. It now supports more players, more goods and more characters. The new edition may be over-produced with the coins; yet, it comes with a reasonable price. The game play is interactive. Some tactical planning is needed to maximise the score. Some card combos are essential at particular point of time. Therefore, a player shall collects some essential function card in their hand, in addition to getting a set for scoring. Replayability is very good because of the random Characters and Markets. Each Market card influence how you plan the game. The production quality is good. The box is sturdy. The cards are thick. Illustration is stylish. The coins are handy. It would be great if they can use icons to represent the functions rather than text. I wish for smaller box, though.

Was really excited for this Clowdus game, but after playing with a friend, it just was a little too simple, even with the endgame scoring options. Neat art and theme though. Would be good for light gamers I suppose.
