This is an excellent approach to an expansion. There are many different various parts you can implement independently into the game. Everything from very simple items such as new ships, captains and forms of cargo, to slightly more complex things such as wind direction and crew happiness or new ammunition options, to higher end complex things such as adding new parts to locations that increase the number of things you can do in a port or implementing many of the various options into one game. I would have bumped this to a 9 if they'd included the ability to add a player or two.

probably the best expansion on the boardgame market.will probably play it with all the modules.also the suggested variations are great.for me the captains variation and the gold-victory point are the best.expecially more gold for vicotry points moves players to do more mission and rumors.this way it is way more fun. suggested expansion: -pls move the boring captains from the game and give us the captains of the piracy golden era.who would not like to play teach,rackham,every,vane and so many more. -i wpuld like something like a story cards/missions for the game like in firefly so it would keep it more historic and epic. then this game would be a true gem

After a 6-hour game with all modules, I have to admit that M&M seas of glory is the best expansion I've met so far. Makes the game so real!
