Very tactical game, the ever changing state of the marbles makes it hard to predict what resources will be available. This is amplified by the randomness of the building costs means you could be saving for a particular building, only to have it change to cost resources you don't have, if another player buys it before you. I am sad they didn't give the buildings names, because it makes it feel like I am trying to solve simultaneous conversion equations instead of playing a game. I like the restrictiveness of the resource storage as it forces you to build an engine and use it, instead of just collecting resources from the market. There is an enjoyable sense of escalation, as your conversion engines become more efficient, and the faith timer rushes towards the end. Decent filler game despite my misgivings. It captures the feel of the original Lorenzo, while having completely different mechanisms.

Wow.......didnt expect to love this one. Knew i would like it, as a 30 minute game with a unique gimmick, but this thing is legit. The genius design decision here is the COMBINATION of the storage puzzle with the marbles. It saves the game from being solvable and obvious. This is right up there with the best-of-the best super-fillers. But where should it fall? Theres no way it has the replayability or legs of Glass Road or Kashgar, however its even faster than kashgar and carpe diem and how much extra rating do you give it for the cool marble mechanism? Gonna start this out at a mid-eight and see where it goes. This is another one where you cant tell how good it is by watching youtube.

*8* (Initial plays) This is pretty good. I was surprisingly impressed. It's a quick playing engine builder with a neat marble mechanic for resources. This fits very well with the time it plays in and what it offers. Definitely a game I'll want to play more, especially at 30-45 a play.
