Taken by suprise. I was aware of Andor, but never took it seriously. As a experienced mage knight player I thought the game couldn’t provide any fun for someone who’s enjoying heavy games. Maybe fun for kids i thought. But I was wrong as I ever could be. This game is a blast. Fantastic components abd immersive gameplay. I never care for flavortext, but it realy does a great job in this game. I am soloing it, and having tons of fun. Simple rulss but hard to beat. For this prics it’s a must have for anyond who care for coop/solo fantasy thened puzzlesolving advdnture. Update: initial a lot of fun. But after a while its pretty repetitive. First couple of times when you play a legend its pure fun. But normally you will lose them if you want it to beat whitout making it easyer. Thats were the game dropps. Its just do the same thing over and over again. Its like laying out a complete puzzle but because you misser one part you just start over the hole way.

The "intro" scenario is LUDICROUSLY difficult, and not in a fun way. I can't imagine that this game was properly tested. I plan to try some of the other adventures, but right now I'm too burned out on repeated attempts at the intro legend. See my extended review posted here: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2649561/so-much-love-so-much-hate And on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RESJ26BV62OSW/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B073WNQTYS

Each of the four heroes/heroines gets an power-upgrade, desperately needed for the oncoming challenges. "The Last Hope" contains seven(!) quests/stories, each of them getting more and more fierce, dark and difficult. Very grim gameboard and scenarios. Some very interesting and demanding new gameplay-mechanisms, especially the Skeletons are nicely done. Each hero/heroine has to care for daily provisions, the baggage wagon brings new tactical options. As in the preceding "Andor"-games there are many things to do, sometimes it feels like hard work. Nevertheless, there are good and exciting new ideas. Worthy sequel.
