Seen at SPIEL 14 and bought at SPIEL 15. Basically a risk variant with more diplomacy supported by a tablet app. Quite entertaining.

We played for the first time. At first it took us a while to get the game going since every player has to familiarize with the iPad app and configure a turn (buy new troops, develop technology, get spies and diplomats). Then the game turned out to be instantly fun when the first acts of sabotage occurred, finger-pointing started and tanks were rolling. On the board the game itself feels a bit like Risk, but the technology, espionage and ordering of reinforcements give it a lot more juice. We missed a possibility to send secret messages through the app, because when you secretly have an alliance you need to communicate to some degree. We soon revealed our alliances in order to talk terms on the table. I think the game has a lot to offer, but there's also room for improvement.

Downtime - perfect ideas, good use of app..., but ...downtime... one tablet/app game... Rating 5-6 Now we played 5-player with 5 tablets..., now it's a complete different experience. Playing at the same time is simulating world at war..., fantastic. recommended. We'll never play different. Rating new: 8+ Got the Leader add-on New Leader-Bundle too.
