We played for the first time. At first it took us a while to get the game going since every player has to familiarize with the iPad app and configure a turn (buy new troops, develop technology, get spies and diplomats). Then the game turned out to be instantly fun when the first acts of sabotage occurred, finger-pointing started and tanks were rolling. On the board the game itself feels a bit like Risk, but the technology, espionage and ordering of reinforcements give it a lot more juice. We missed a possibility to send secret messages through the app, because when you secretly have an alliance you need to communicate to some degree. We soon revealed our alliances in order to talk terms on the table. I think the game has a lot to offer, but there's also room for improvement.

More interesting than simple "Risk" style game. A new design of game with Android app. Nice! New war strategy game let's improve to You to new skills in combats and develops. :) I like new feature as "sabotage", "espionage" or.... even Nuclear strikes :) It's enough long game, about 2-3 hrs. , but still good in simplification. Intrigue remains till the end of the game - allies and enemies - You can't expect what is what, because the LEADER can be only one!!!

I bought this game while looking for alternatives to the usual Risk that would not be too heavy (I cannot always force my friends to play my GMT & Co. wargames), and in order to look for interesting new concepts to apply in design. Well, I must say: I'm satisfied. It is a very easy game, with simple mechanics. Somebody called it a Risk enhanced and, well...it's definitely that. The app worked perfectly, even when we ran into issues due to our smarthones: we managed to come back into play with the minimum loss of time and effort. Overall, it is a nice game, easy to learn, easy to play, though with some unsuspected tactical/strategic depth (and diplomacy plus espionage through app is intriguing and contributes to that). Definitely a worthy acquisition, provided that you do not expect a complex wargame.
