Lanterns Dice: Lights in the Sky
30m - 45m
2 - 4 Players
Ages 10+
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Pattern Building is a system where players place game components in specific patterns in order to gain specific or variable game results. For example: placing chips on 2, 4, 6, 8 on a board gets the player an action card they can use later in the game.

I like a few different things about this roll & write: the dice selection method (although the tray could do with having slightly higher sides to stop the dice escaping as much), trying to form shapes for the fireworks, scoring your second largest connected area and also the Emperor's gift options. If anything I'd say it's a tad long for what it is, but I do enjoy it.

Interesting mild interaction and fun to puzzle out your player board. One of the better Roll and writes!
