This was a fun tactical battler. The options available to you on a given turn are fairly wide, without being overwhelming. The game was close and tense. I enjoyed this and its a great filler+

Enjoy all three modes, appreciate the ability to scale the difficulty of the challenges to the ability of the players. Both demons and knights are very thematic: even in just a half dozen plays, the character’s personalities are already developing a rich “lore” with my son’s descriptions of each game. Good stuff.

Criminally underrated in my opinion, a great little skirmish game with a fun, low-commitment campaign to boot. Most criticisms I've seen are overblown; for example, the rulebook is slightly vague in the coop rules but using common sense seemed to navigate that just fine. Otherwise, the art is gorgeous, the production quality for its price range is outstanding (especially if you can get it on sale, which seems likely since it didn't sell too well), the skirmish and campaign modes are tactical and exciting and dripping with theme. The game even has its own soundtrack on Spotify! I will always be an evangelist for this game, and while I recognise it's not perfect, it's flaws didn't seem to bother me nearly as much as it did others.
