The game didn't live up to my expectations. Core mechanic with dice checks is too randomness and using card for mulligans doesn't works in many cases. I think it would be best using number checks like 5+ or so. Planet expedions is boring. Seriously, even in Etherfields it was better: you never know what to expect when reading a paragraph. In ISS Vangard paragraphs in red zones are bad, in green zones good. Character progression is also not fun. You may only buy new cubes. Deckbulding is very limited much worse than deckbuilding in Etherfields. During the campaign you will unclock many item cards but most of them are useless because you can take only few items in expediton. Ship management phase is fine because it is fast :) Absolutlly unneccesary miniatures and even standies, because they take all space on the cards. Tokens would be enough. Story is mostly boring with unneccesary "drama" twists. It's look like that Vanguard's crew is a random crowd but not people, who have been specially selected to take part in a dangerous expedition.
