Rated after five plays. Takes what is great about the first two smaller boxes and adds some really cool mechanics making for a tight, thematic enjoyable game in 30-40 min. Big thumbs up.

I have similar feelings to this Hunted game as I do to the Kobyashi Tower based one. I really like the dexterity based combat of the Hunted: Mining Colony game, as it is fresh and fun to play, despite the draw deck being punishingly random. Dice is not really my thing, which is why I didn't like the other small box game. As to Wode Ridge, the dice is not really improved, though mitigation is a little bit with the addition of separate item and ally card decks. The adventure book is nice and cute, but ultimately does not contribute to replay value. The draw deck seems even more random than the previous games though, which combined with the dice checks makes for a very hit or miss experience. Lastly, the puzzle of the evidence board is so shallow that it takes the theme right out of the game. Don't think you will be stringing clues together to solve a mystery, you're basically just drawing cards from the deck to fill up a board and finish the game.

I'm a fan of the other Hunted games. This one was so fun to play! There is so much to do. I really enjoyed the characters and allies along with the items you can acquire. The evidence board is interesting and adds a new element of completing the game. I miss the scoring element from previous Hunted games.
