A fine game where you first draft up to 3 patients then you have the opportunity to draft doctors and/or medicine kits. Then you assign doctors to patients and give them the medicine to heal them. The drafting is solid and the doctor patient matching is a fun puzzle, but the game is very tight and for me borders much more on work than on fun. A simple extra coin or two for healing the patient in the round you draft them would have been huge to me. Instead of always feeling a dollar or two short I could now do what I want. Also there is a lot of in game maintenance that occurs during the round that really makes the game plod along. The game really needs a player aid or to actually put this information on the game board so that it is functional and better conveys everything that needs to occur during the round.

+ Easy to understand rules. + Simple game structure. + Good number of patients. + Light to midweight game. + Play against 3 non player opponents. + Non-player opponents easy to manage. Adjust difficulty by adding 2/4/6 VP when obtaining assistance. Makes for a very challenging game. + The patient, doctor selection and vp scoring for the non player is very simple. + Tight currently which makes it difficult to obtain the required doctors. + Reputation track determines order selection. = Tile quality in the middle, not the worst or best. - VP tokens larger than what's allocated for the board. I replaced with my own tokens. - Will play all doctors each game. - Bad color combinations selection as it can get confusing and possibly cause issues with those experiencing color blindness. - Not for heavy weight gamers. This is a tight light - midweight game that I enjoy very much. Yes your doing the same thing each round. Select patience, pay doctors fees, obtain doctors and cure patience for VP. Repeat and rinse in 4 rounds. The limited round structure and tight currency makes the games very challenging. No matter I'm performing the same actions, there are strategies to decide. This isn't a brain burner but definitely fit the bill for my collection.

A very good Eurogame that does not really offer anything new or innovating. But it does what it does well and is fun. Loved the theme.
