Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

I had the pleasure to play the full version of the game. I am very positively surprised. The game has a complex decision mechanism, a expanded and interesting combat system, a nice interaction between players during tournaments. I've played a lot of games in my life. However, this game is not similar to any other. There are many unusual mechanics, options and potential for further expansion. Randomness in this game is not a problem as I expected. There are many mechanisms to manage risk. Winning this game gives a lot of satisfaction and it's not that easy. I know I played a prototype and much will change, but I'm not a fan of graphics, everything is super clean and perfect, lacks real medieval devotion in the form of mud, dirt and darkness. However, this is a matter of taste and everyone can evaluate it in their own way. Finally, I give this game 8 points and one additional for authors who have spent their time to show me and my friends their game.

I play manly solo. This game have 3 solo variants, two of them are standard beat the score, but third one is simulation of game, with separate deck for simulation of opponent movements. Feel like normal game where you need to plan your turns because opponent can block you. I realy enjoy it!
