Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

If I want a real-time game, I want something like Fuse, where the entire game is 10 minutes from start to finish. This one grossly overstays its welcome and while, yes, achieving the victory was satisfying, it was too chaotic for me to ever want to play again.

A sequel to Fuse (which I own but never got overexcited about).Glad the got to Flatline: a better coop, a better, smaller timed part with some pauses (vs the 10min timed frenzy of Fuse) that makes the game less of a stress and more of a fun experience. Definitely, the more players, the better, as one would assume for this king of game. One complain I could make: everything is so colorful that I think the end result might be a bit too much..

I enjoy the small amount of real time activity and ability to plan before you do that. It walks the fine line of being too stressful and entertaining. 29 percival
