Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

I may have completely misunderstood the (complicated) rulebook, but when we tried it several times, we simply couldn't (1) determine how it involved other than the 'detective' during play, so it really wasn't a 2-player game, and (2) what there was to it, other than step by step processes of elimination. I spent a while drawing up decision trees, and found that they got me to a correct answer fast on most occasions. Sadly, then, it didn't come up to scratch at all.

A jouer à 3.

There is a basic memory problem in the design when starting with the level 2/3 side, because you can already see the information on the backside.
