Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

Another valueless balance vote to keep up against the undesserved hate of DrDru who seems like such a nice human being

We've played the first 2 scenarios so far and really enjoy it. It's important to note that it's a legacy game and you will be placing stickers on the board and dice. This does detract from the gameplay at times, having to pause mid scenario to find the necessary sticker. This is expected and an aspect that contributes to legacy games, but again, important to note in case someone is unfamiliar. The narrative portions of the story were surprising and I find myself looking forward to what will come in the remaining scenarios. First impressions: So far, so good. Very happy to have backed this. After 4 scenarios, I'm starting to think I'd prefer this as a non legacy game.

After watching a few play-throughs this doesn’t look fun or compelling. Very disappointed considering the publishers last game. Looks about as bad as Charterstone which was a total flop. Lots of superfluous little boxes, stickers and tactile busywork to distract you from the fact that there isn’t really a game here; it’s just an activity.
